My love of the beach and everything tropical led me to start creating these one of a kind, hand painted candle holders. They are fun and whimsical in shades of cobalt blue with a hint of light gray and white speckled all over and tan starfish. It holds a standard votive candle or a tealight for versatility.
The darker looking pictures have a tealight candle burning so you have an idea of how the light flows through the paint. The painted surface is abstract and imperfect, making lighter and darker spots so the candle light really enhances the look!
I blend my paints as I go so no 2 are exactly the same making these truly unique.
Another quirky thing I love about this glass is that it's slightly "off kilter", When you look at it straight on, the top is actually leaning over a little. It reminds me of a honey pot and I think it makes it look more rustic and aged.
This single candle holder is the perfect gift for anyone who loves the beach, lives on the water or dreams of it someday. The paint has been oven-cured for durability but I strongly recommend gently hand washing with a mild soap to insure your one of a kind candle holders remain in fabulous condition.
